Go Red for women

The World Heart Federation (WHF) and American Heart Association

(AHA) signed an agreement with Emirates Cardiac Society to collaborate on the issue of women and heart disease through the promotion of Go Red For Women (GFRW) as a global campaign. As part of this campaign, WHF and AHA will encourage and support WHF members in developing campaigns in the United Arab Emirates part of this WHF/AHA collaboration effort, AHA provided license to GRFW marks for use by Emirates Cardiac Society This year, Majid Al Futaim wanted to use the Go Red for Women branding in UAE and as it is now launched along with the Emirates Cardiac Society after signing GRFW MOU in 2017 with AHA, it will be done in collaboration with Emirates Cardiac Society.

Feel the beat campaign

Majid Al-Futaim Feel the Beat Campaign is kicking o_ this weekend insha’ Allah. This year’s campaign is targeting to screen around 13,000 women for risks of Cardiovascular Disease in 19 MAF Malls in 5 MENA countries: UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt and Lebanon. UAE screening has been arranged with DHA for the Emirate of Dubai 6 MAF Malls and with Zulekha Hospital for the Northern Emirates 7 MAF Malls where medical staff from both facilities will be arranged to conduct the screening for the malls visitors.

As 29th September is the World Heart Day, and from 27-29th September the campaign will be held at 4 locations, one of them is the Mall of the Emirates.
