Last year’s edition saw over 700 delegates from 25+ countries join the conference from different specialties ranging from Cardiac Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Internist, Radiologist, Lipidologists, Nurses and other healthcare professionals. More than 100 faculties from around the world also joined in to share their experiences and host interactive discussions, with lectures covering various topics in Interventional Cardiology radiology and vascular cases and more. 20+ companies participated in the exhibition and industrial satellite symposiums also were held throughout the event.

This year, special workshops are being arranged alongside the 4TS 2019 conference to enhance the experience of the attendees. The event also has abstract submission opportunities and will hold poster presentations as well.

The Year in Cardiology congress is in collaboration with Angina Awareness Initiative and endorsed by Emirates Cardiac Society aims at highlighting and summarising key topics in cardiology of the year 2018. The Congress will provide a bro-ad overview of the novelties published or presented at major international meeting and of the guidelines released in 2018 by the principal scientific societies. The congress is intended to provide the practicing physician with the most up-to-date information in the latest scientific guidelines and at the same time give a comprehensive update of novel insights relevant both to the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The meeting will be organised by topics and each session will include one lecture on the relevant guidelines and one on the most important findings released in the year that had just passed.
